Ok so it may seem that the title of this blog is a little mis-leading...3 ways to use lipstick? It's lipstick - it just goes on your lips, right? Wrong! :) If I were to only ever be able to have one item from my make-up bag with me, it would be lipstick as its so versatile. If you ever get stuck and need a quick glam-up in the nearest mirror, keep the following 3 ways to use a lipstick in mind! The awesome part is, the only tool you need is your lipstick and your hands.
Adding blush to your cheeks is an instant way to refresh your look. Take any pinkish or reddish lipstick and apply directly to your cheek making a perfect circle. As you can see, this looks pretty comedic - but we're not done :)
Pretty much every eye colour and complexion suits a touch of warmth. Using the same lipstick you used on your cheeks, take the sharpest edge of your lippy and run it from the outer corner of your eye along the socket line and stop somewhere roughly 3 quarters of the way along your eye.
Now using the tip of you little finger, gently rub the lipstick in one direction (the same direction you applied it - from outer to inner). Keep doing this, moving just above the line and just below it as you go to move the colour around a little. Again, the more depth of colour u want, the less you blend and vice versa. Keep adding colour and/or blending until you're happy.
Ok so this is obvious, but I said 3 ways! This is the 3rd :) Sweep you same colour as above along your lips. Just dab and blend with your fingers for a lighter look, or apply heavily all along the lips for a deeper colour.
