Eyebrows are so much more important than people realise. They frame the face, lift the eyes and generally make any made-up face look complete. Too many people ignore their eyebrows and a big part of it comes from not knowing how to correctly fill them in. So here it is; a fool-proof guide to your daily eyebrow routine!
Step 4: Use a sharp eyebrow pencil, draw the underneath line in as straight/curved as you like. I generally straighten mine out a tiny bit. I also use a slightly warmer brown than my natural eyebrow colour to match my warm brown hair colour (dyed). I used The Body Shop Eyebrow Definer in 02 Brunette. DON'T draw a line vertically at the front of your eyebrow - this will help the final look be more natural. I would also recommend not penciling in the top line and your arch - this can give a really heavy look to your eyebrows - we'll do that with powder in a minute :)
Step 5: Using a brow brush (or old cleaned mascara wand!) brush the line you have drawn up into your eyebrow. Apply some pressure on the pencil line then brush upwards.
Step 7: Using an eyebrow powder (or a matt eyeshadow) and an angled brush, apply the powder through the arch and end of your eyebrow, tapering it off to a neat point. Go back through your eyebrow with your brow brush to dispense the product evenly. I used The Body Shop Brow & Liner Kit in Brown/Brunette.
Step 8-9: Take a concealer pencil or liquid and apply in a line underneath your brow as close to the hair and as you can get it. Do the same to the top line of your brow, defining your arch as you go. I used The Body Shop Concealer Pencil in 03.
Step 10: Using a blending brush (the fluffiest one in your kit) or your fingers, blend the concealer out from your brow in all directions (down from the bottom line, up from the top line, etc).
Step 11: Use a brow setting gel in clear or brown and run it through your eyebrow. This will help set long hairs in place as well as give a natural 'hair' look if you've penciled them in heavily. I used The Body Shop Brow & Lash Gel.
Step 12: You're done!
